Fees

Free Kindergarten
Balit Community Kindergarten has opted into the Victorian Government Free Kindergarten initiative. This means that, along with the government per capita funding for each enrolment at kindergarten, the government will also pay the family contribution component of the enrolment, through the Free Kindergarten initiative. This means that families attending our centre will not pay any fees to participate in programs. Balit Community Kindergarten will prioritises free kindergarten enrolments.

Voluntary Family Contributions
Throughout your time at BCK, you will be asked to help support the centre by either volunteering your time or offering a financial contribution. As a Community Kindergarten the support of our families and local community is vital to the success of the programs offered. We ask all families to consider how they may be able to show their support for the Kindergarten. Contributions can be made directly by clicking here.

Afters
We charge $30/per 2hr Afters session. We ask that families commit to the Afters program on a term-by-term basis. Invoices for the Afters program are issued prior to each term commencing.

Late Collection Fee
While we understand families are late from time to time, where people are routinely late, we ask for your cooperation. A late collection fee may be changed in accordance with the Fees Policy.

Excursions & Incursions
Throughout the year, different class groups will have excursions or incursions to enhance the program. These vary from year-to-year, and are based on the children’s current and emerging interests. An additional charge may be required to meet the cost of these special events, and will be communicated and invoiced in a timely manner.
